Rebecca Chase

Rebecca Chase has been an American Legion Auxiliary member since before she met her husband, Devin. She joined in honor of her father, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and later became involved with the American Legion Riders alongside her husband and family.

Rebecca has been riding since 2017. She started as a way to share a hobby with her husband and family while volunteering and giving back to the community. She rides a 2016 Harley-Davidson Road King.

What Rebecca values most about the Riders is the sense of community created by people who share a love of motorcycles and service. She appreciates being able to spend time with others, support the community, and enjoy the experience together.

Rebecca works with medical billing and coding software systems. Away from work and riding, she enjoys adventures with her children and husband, boating, camping, and reading.

History and conservation are especially important to Rebecca. A former underwater archaeologist, she has scuba certifications in several specialties and has explored multiple shipwrecks at depths of around 160 feet. She has interned at maritime museums, published articles about maritime history, spoken at conferences, and curated an exhibit shown at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.

Rebecca supports veterans as well as ocean, lake, and land conservation. She encourages eligible people to join the Legion family as a way to meet people, become involved in their community, and support programs and scholarships for local youth.
