Charlotte Chase

It is so important to support those in need, and being able to do so with like-minded people makes it even more rewarding.
For Charlotte Chase, riding is not just a hobby. It is a family affair that turned into a mission. Charlotte joined the American Legion Auxiliary through her father’s service in the Marine Corps, alongside a deep family history of grandfathers and uncles who served in the Army and Air Force.
In 2018, when her husband and sons all bought motorcycles, Charlotte was not about to be left sitting on the sidelines while they took off on adventures. She jumped in and officially joined ALR Post 259 that same year after a friendly invitation from fellow members opened the door for her family.
Today she serves as the Riders’ secretary, combining her professional experience as COO of Directive, the IT company, and Marketing Manager at BriteAgency, the marketing company, with her passion for community service. On the road, Charlotte rides a cherry-red 2022 Harley-Davidson Road King she has affectionately named “Stella.”
Affection is the right word, too. Charlotte’s dedication to the Riders is driven by the direct, local impact of their charity motorcycle runs, connecting with like-minded friends, and giving back to causes close to her heart, including local animal rescues.
Beyond her leadership role and time on the road, Charlotte is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as someone who genuinely loves tackling complex challenges. She is someone who has managed to regularly feed an entire hungry team, wrangle the family business’ operations, and even enjoys the therapeutic process of untangling literal knots. In many ways, it is fair to say that achieving the impossible is her hobby.
