9th Annual

Vets for Pets Run

Veterans riding for the animals of Otsego County.

The Vets for Pets Run is an annual charity motorcycle run held by the American Legion Riders of Post 259 at American Legion Post 259, 279 Chestnut Street, Oneonta, NY. Every dollar raised goes to animal shelters in and around Otsego County. The 9th Annual run is complete, and the date for next year's run has not been announced yet.

Thank You

Our 9th Annual Vets for Pets Run is in the books, and it was a good one. To every rider and passenger who rolled out with us, every sponsor and donor who dug into their pockets, and every volunteer who worked registration, the kitchen, and the road: thank you. This run does not happen without you.

Every dollar raised goes to the three local shelters below. When the Riders announce the date for next year's run, you will find it here and on the run board.

The Run Ends. The Need Does Not.

These shelters need help year round, not just on run day. Donate if you can. Volunteer a few hours. Adopt a dog or cat that needs a home, or foster one until it finds its family. Every one of the organizations above will welcome the help.
