About the Run
The 24th Annual 9/11 Legacy Run is Saturday, September 12, 2026 at American Legion Post 259, 279 Chestnut Street, Oneonta, NY. Registration opens at 9:00 am, the 9/11 remembrance ceremony starts at 10:10 am, and kickstands go up at 10:45 am. Registration is $20 per participant.
Every September we gather at the Post to remember the fallen of September 11, 2001, and to ride for the families they left behind. Our Legacy Movie tells the story better than we can in writing. The morning starts with a 9/11 remembrance ceremony, then kickstands go up and we roll out together on some of the best roads in upstate New York.
Proceeds from the run fund the Legacy Scholarship, which helps pay for college for children of post-9/11 service members, veterans, and first responders in Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango counties.
We co-host the Legacy Run with our friends in Red Knights Chapter 44. All riders are welcome. Bring your crew, bring your passengers, and help us send a kid to school.
The Legacy Scholarship
The Legacy Scholarship exists so the children of those who serve are not left carrying the cost alone. Every dollar raised on this run goes toward tuition for local students in Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango counties whose parents served after 9/11.
