About the Run
The 24th Annual Legacy Run, marking the 9/11 25th Anniversary, was held Saturday, September 12, 2026 at American Legion Post 259 in Oneonta, NY.
Every September we gather at the Post to remember the fallen of September 11, 2001, and to ride for the families they left behind. Our Legacy Movie tells the story better than we can in writing.
The run is over, but support for the Legacy Scholarship continues. Donations help pay for college for children of post-9/11 service members, veterans, and first responders in Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango counties.
There is more going on than the ride itself. We run a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction, and there is food, so there is a reason to stay a while whether you are riding or not.
We co-host the Legacy Run with our friends in Red Knights Chapter 44. All riders are welcome. Bring your crew, bring your passengers, and help us send a kid to school.
Building stronger communities, investing in our future. That is what this ride is for, and it is why we come back to it every September.
The Legacy Scholarship
The Legacy Scholarship exists so the children of those who serve are not left carrying the cost alone. Every dollar raised on this run goes toward tuition for local students in Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango counties whose parents served after 9/11.
